Summary: Enfield played tenacious and scrappy today, and almost came away with the win. They kept pressure on us, eventually equalizing the score early in the second half. I was nervous for much of the game. Senior Captain midfielder,Brian Rossini, once again took control, netting the first goal and assisting the late-game winner to Junior, Nick Murdza. Rossini has 4 goals, 2 assists in 3 games this season; Murdza has 3 goals and an assist this season. Also, Brandon Scanlon, Corey Brown, and Jack Hostetler played excellent. All three were instrumental in thwarting Enfield's attacks and setting up the two plays that resulted in goals. Scanlon and Brown had 2 shots on goal each. This is the third game and win of the season for Somers.
