Ellington Lacrosse Falls to Somers in Overtime

On Tuesday, the Ellington High School girls lacrosse team 15-14 in overtime to host Somers.

Liv Kosilla and Ally Wylie each scored three goals for the Knights. Britt Lemire had six draw controls and Ally Letizia had 12 saves in goal.

For Somers, Kristen Steidler had six goals and an assist Jess Olynciw had four goals. 

Katie Morrell, Karen Trescott, and Micalea Leaska each had a goal and an assist. Sam Gay added three assists and Darcy Anderson one for the Spartans.

Jenna Jablonski made 12 saves.

Ellington (4-6) travel to Avon on Friday. Somers (4-5) will host Suffield on Thursday.
