Volleyball Drops Season Opener
The Ellington High School team was shut out by visiting Coventry.
On Wednesday, the volleyball team fell 3-0 to visiting Coventry.
Game scores were 25-8, 25-15, and 25-15.
For Coventry, Marina Rose (15 kills, 19 digs, 3 aces), Alyssa Keeney (11 kills, 8 digs), and Erika Trudon (6 kills, 5 digs, 3 aces) were standouts.

For Ellington Lanae Schneider had five blocks and five kills, Ali Larew had nine digs, and Karli King had five assists.
The next match for the Knights is at home on Friday against Canton.
