Somers Holds Off Stafford
The Spartans were led by Diandra DaRosa and Hailee Stetson in the victory.
With three starters out with injuries, the girls' basketball team rallied behind Diandra DaRosa and Hailee Stetson to defeat visiting Stafford 54-41.
DaRosa and Stetson combined for 19 points in the first half, helping Somers to a 16-point lead at the break. DaRosa finished with 22 points and Stetson 16 in the game.
Brenna Roy led Stafford with 10 points. Dani Clark added nine and Isabella Randazzo eight in the loss.

Somers (6-9) will host Avon on Friday. Stafford (1-14) will host Windsor Locks the same day.
