The Somers High School field hockey team defeated visiting Woodstock 7-0 on Saturday.
Somers led 5-0 at the half and dominated the whole game.
Kayla Renaud led Somers with three goals. Emma Panto had two, and Kristen Steidler and Kim Cisco each netted one for the Spartans.

Steidler also notched three assists and Sam Gay had one.
Somers goalkeeper Jenna Jablonski wasn't called upon to make a save. For Woodstock Academy (0-6), goalie Shelby Frederick made 19 saves.

Somers (4-3) will host Suffield on Tuesday.
