The Spartans hosted Ellington on Thursday and came away with a 10-4 victory.
The boys' lacrosse team got back to its winning ways on Thursday with a 10-4 victory over visiting .
Sean Tynan and Tyler Russell each had three goals and one assist for Somers. Cullen Roberts added two goals and Alex Geas had a goal and three assists. Johnny Albert also scored a goal and notched two assists.
Kevin Murdoch and Julian Plotkin played well for the Spartans.

For Ellington, Kyle Plickys had two goals and an assist, and Lucas Horvath and Kevin Vincens each had a goal.

Pat Tynan had 16 saves for Somers and Kevin Bostiga had 15 for Ellington.
Somers (8-2) hosts South Windsor on Monday. Ellington (4-6) travels to Tolland on Saturday.
