Eighth-Graders Invited to Goodwin Open House

The Connecticut River Academy at Goodwin College has informed us that they will be having an open house for interested eighth grade students on Monday, January 17 at  5:30pm to 7:30pm and Saturday, January 29 from 10:00am to 12:00pm.  The mission of the Connecticut River Academy is to "prepare students for further educational opportunities, including careers in environmental and other sciences, break down racial, ethnic, economic, gender, and other social and academic barriers, and help students become well-rounded, scientifically literate, responsible 21st Century citizens."  Students attending the Academy have an opportunity to take Goodwin College courses in grades 11 and 12.
