Ellington Wins Thriller in Suffield

The Ellington High School volleyball team squeaked out a 3-2 road win against the Wildcats.

The volleyball team traded games with host and came away with a 3-2 victory on Wednesday.

Ellington's game scores were 25-12, 23-25, 25-15, 22-25, and 15-12. 

For the Knights, Lanae Schneider had eight kills, three aces, and six digs. Sam Salwa tallied 12 assists and three aces in the victory.

Vicky Ho had 10 aces for Suffield and Casey Ryan added seven kills.

Ellington (2-7) hosts SMSA at 5:30 p.m. next Wednesday. Suffield (0-7) hosts Avon at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
