Ellington, Somers Schools Have a 2-Hour Delay
With the wind factor, temperatures could dip below zero degrees.
Both the Ellington and Somers public school districts have a two-hour delay Tuesday, Jan. 7, due to the extreme cold temperatures impacting the state, WFSB reported.
The temperature was 7 degrees this morning in Ellington with a wind chill of -5 degrees.
A windchill advisory is in effect until Wednesday, Jan. 8, the National Weather Service said.
