The event came about through Brittany Nutile, an EHS sophomore, who went to a couple of fundraisers at Ron-A-Roll and thought it would be fun to do the high school Relay for Life there. Nutile has participated in Relay for Life since 2004.

The event is chaired by Kelly Mulka, an EHS senior, who went to this event at a different location and brought it into the school.

Annette Nutile, Brittany’s mother, has been involved with Relay for Life at various events around the state since 2004 and this year is the chairperson for the Tolland Country Relay.
