Lawyer: Assault Didn't Happen

The Journal Inquirer is reporting that the attorney representing Brian Francolini says a sexual assault didn't happen on Saturday.

The attorney representing Brian Francolini says the sexual assault Francolini is charged with didn't happen, according to the Journal Inquirer.

The paper quotes Wayne R. Keeney as saying in part, "When we peel away the exaggerated indignation of these people who have their own agenda, we will find that no crime occurred here, not even an impropriety has occurred. What we will find is two young people experimenting with life, and nothing more."

The CT Post originally reported that Francolini, 20, from Ellington, and Justin Brewer, 22, from Somers, had been charged with at their off-campus apartment on Saturday. Both attend Sacred Heart University and played on the school's soccer team.
