Ellington-Somers Police Blotter: July 11-17

The following arrest reports, provided by Connecticut State Police, are accurate as of July 18, 2013. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

July 12

Samuel A. Shepley, 22, of 15 Triangle Dr., Moodus, was charged with 3rd-degree larceny, on a 2013 warrant from Ellington.

July 13

A juvenile, 16, was charged with operating under the influence, traveling unreasonably fast, violating motor vehicle passenger restrictions for 16/17 year olds and violating motor vehicle requirements for 16/17 year olds between 12-5 a.m., in connection with a motor vehicle violation on Route 140 in Ellington, 1:52 a.m.

July 17

Michael W. Rivera, 21, of 360 Springfield Rd., Somers, was charged with risk of injury to a child, interfering with an emergency call, 3rd-degree assault and 2nd-degree unlawful restraint, on a 2013 warrant from Somers.
