Ellington-Somers Police Blotter: Feb. 18-Feb. 24

The following arrest reports, provided by Connecticut State Police, are accurate as of Feb. 25, 2011. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

Feb. 18

Between 11:45 a.m. and 11:45 p.m., someone smashed the driver's side window of a car that was parked in a driveway on Main Street in Somers, causing $300 in damage.

Lisa M. Anselmo, 20, of 32 Cheyenne Rd., East Hartford, was arrested on a warrant for an incident which occurred at 11 Westland Rd. in Ellington on May 13, 2010. She was charged with breach of peace and third-degree assault. Ginni R. Gonyea, 23, of 10 West St., Vernon, was also arrested for breach of peace and third-degree assualt.

Feb. 21

Mark David Bollinger, 41, of 13 Robert St., Somers, was arrested for disorderly conduct after troopers responded to a disturbance at the home.

Feb. 22

Earl R. Thompson III, 47, of 51 Meadow Brook Rd., Ellington, was arrested for disorderly conduct after a disturbance was reported at the home. Upon speaking with the complaintants and witnesses at the scene, it was determined to be a domestic disturbance.

Feb. 23

A 16-year-old female from Bondsville, MA., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and failure to obey a stop sign after police responded to a report of a one-car motor vehicle accident. The teenager was subjected to a series of field sobriety tests which she failed. No injuries were reported and she was placed under arrest. The incident occurred on Four Bridges Road in Somers.

Jeffrey A. Sulham, 52, of 9 Frog Hollow Rd., Ellington, was charged with disorderly conduct after creating a disturbance, screaming and yelling at a woman in a kitchen in front of their children. Police say Sulham was intoxicated.

Marcus Hodges, 23, was transported from to Rockville Superior Court so that police could serve him with an active arrest warrant. Hodges is charged with being a fugitive from justice.

Troopers were dispatched to a commercial business located at 74 South Rd. (the former Rich's Drive In) in Somers on an alarm. An investigation revealed that someone had forced entry into the business via the rear door. Miscellaneous computer hardware was reported missing. This case remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact Trooper Rua at Troop C in Tolland.
