Ellington-Somers Police Blotter: June 22-June 28

June 24

Michael D. Fortier, 54, of 119 Main St., 2nd Floor in Somers, was charged after troopers were called to the residence for an intoxicated person throwing bottles off a second story balcony. Troopers located broken glass bottles in the middle of Route 190 and spoke to several individuals, who all denied throwing bottles. While speaking to the parties, Fortier was belligerent/intoxicated and was asked to go back inside the residence, which he did not do. Troopers placed him into custody a short time later without incident. He was charged with interfering with an officer.
