Ellington-Somers Police Blotter: April 15 - April 21

The following arrest reports, provided by Connecticut State Police Troop C in Tolland, are accurate as of April 22, 2011. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

April 18

Earl R. Thompson, 47, of 51 Meadow Brook Rd., Ellington, turned himself in at Troop C after a warrant was issued for his arrest based upon the result of an investigation of an incident that occurred on March 31 in Ellington. He was charged with criminal violation of a protective order, disorderly conduct and third degree assault.

Officers responded to the Willard-Cybulski Correctional Institution's Cybulski portion for a report of an inmate who was found in possession of narcotics. Officers spoke to corrections personnel who recovered narcotics and took them as evidence. This case is active and under investigation.

April 19

State police are investigating a criminal mischief complaint at 24 West Road, Unit #32 (Victorian House Apartments) in Ellington. Police are also investigating an attempted burglary and criminal mischief at Unit #30 in the same complex.
