March 29
State police are investigating a report of a larceny at an Abbott Road residence. The owner of the property reported that various jewelry and electronics equipment were taken from a house.

Stanley Kusy, 39, of 309 Somers Rd., Ellington, was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain his lane. Kusy is scheduled to appear in Tolland Superior Court in Rockville and was released on a $500 bond.
Daniel Devine, 35, of 41A Vernon Ave., Vernon, was charged with driving an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to stop at a stop sign and evading responsibility for an incident that occurred on Middle Butcher Road in Ellington at 9:54 a.m.

Jerry A. Grant, 45, of the MacDougal-Walker Correctional Institution was charged with possession of marijuana.
