Dear voters,
Before you vote on November 5th, see if you can get some answers.Why did the First Selectman fire the Resident Trooper's Administrative Assistant? Why did she try to replace the Assistant with a state trooper who resigned after his involvement in a much publicized motor vehicle accident involving drugs and alcohol on the job. The Resident Trooper refused the First Selectman's proposal to replace the recently fired Administrative Assistant with the former trooper. Why then did the First Selectman create a Town Hall Financial position for this retired trooper? Read about him in the Somers Ellington Patch.
