Ellington Ridge to Host Johnson Memorial Hospital Benefit

The annual JMH golf outing is set for Monday, Aug. 26.

Less than a month away is the annual golf tournament to benefit Johnson Memorial Hospital.

This year's outing is slated for Monday, Aug. 26 at the private Ellington Ridge Country Club. The event is hosted by the JMH medical staff; last year, more than $41,000 was raised, which was used toward the purchase of a new C-Arm.

This year’s proceeds are being devoted to patient-related equipment purchases for JMH’s Emergency Department. A portion of the funds will also be directed towards the JMH Medical Staff Scholarship Program, which provides grants to seven students from surrounding towns.

The entry fee is $150 per player, which includes greens fees, cart, lunch, driving range and dinner. The format is a four-person scramble, and prizes will be awarded to the low gross team. There will also be a number of contests throughout the day, as well as a silent auction and numersous raffle prizes.

There are still a few openings remaining for players and sponsors. To register a group, visit www.jmmc.com/events. For more information or to discuss event sponsorship, call Lisa DeGray, Director of Development, at 860-684-8161.
