Palooza set for this Saturday
What is a Palooza? The urban dictionary defines it as, an all out crazy party with tons of friends, family and neighbors. This year Palooza will be happening at the Somers Knights of Columbus Hall on Saturday 12-21-13. Doors open at 6pm and partiers can expect full appetizers, dinner, dessert, raffles, dancing as well as one wild party.
Palooza proceeds will benefit the Nicholas David Coleman Foundation, named for the Somers High School Senior who lost his life in October 2012 in a car accident. Proceeds will be used as scholarships for Somers Seniors.
Kevin Roberts, Coordinator and originator of Palooza reports that 20 tickets still remain available at this time. “We hope to sell it out, it looks like we are going to have a great crowd and some fun raffles. We know the food will be great as always”. Palooza has Mrs. Fran Sullivan of Somers doing the culinary duties and Fran is a veteran of many large gatherings in Somers. Her menu’s are “always amazing “ says Rich Tynan of the organizing committee, not your standard fare. People always mention how great her food is.
