Uncle Flatty Band at Ellington Farmers' Market

The Uncle Flatty Band will perform at the Ellington Farmers'
Market on Saturday July 12th  from
9:30-11:30. Uncle Flatty writes and plays honest original music that blends
roots based Americana mandolin, acoustic guitar, and fiddle with alt-country
pedal steel, guitar twang, and solid in the pocket rhythms. This sound,
combined with haunting vocals and heartfelt harmonies, earned Uncle Flatty
regional recognition as the "Best Blues/Country Rock Band" in the
2012 Whalie Awards. As comfortable with up tempo Cajun inspired 2 steps as they
are bluegrass flavored sing-along's and high lonesome love songs, Uncle Flatty
plays for the joy of the music and of the interaction with each other and with
their audiences. Bring a chair and relax under the trees in the quaint New
England setting of Ellington's Arbor Park.
Admission is free.
