October 15, 2013 AT 7:00 PM we will have a business meeting at Somers Public Library, Blake Community Room. At the business meeting we will discuss the cost of maintaining the museum and the work that we have done so far this year. A new Curator will be elected to fill the position left vacant by Jeanne De Bell's retirement. The October meeting features speaker Jim Klopfer, a Connecticut collector and researcher of antiques. Klopfer will present a combination of lecture with hands-on activities to show us how to photograph our antiques. Bring a flash drive and a small antique, and he will photograph your antique. You will go home with the image on your flash drive.
