What was this building and where was it located?

Here's a hint, it's in Ellington. Another hint is to look in the background of the photo for something familiar.

Lynn Fahy, from the Ellington Historical Society says:

"This is an old photo of 141 Orchard St. in Ellington. It used to be the Apostolic Christian Church, before they built the church on Middle Butcher Rd. It is now the Masonic Temple."
