According to Images of America: Somers, from the Somers Historical Society:

"The Somersville Manufacturing Company Fire Department appears in this 1950s image. The members are, from left to right, as follows: (front row): Deputy Chief Lennie Lakonski, Ed Bourgoise, Ellsworth Wood, Tony Padegimas, John Kozikowski, and Chief Lloyd Hunt; (back row): Joe Grigas, Pete Unas, Alphonse Bouthiette, Custy Labutis, Bill Taylor, Ray Burgess, unidentified, Ben Paterwic, and Egan Murawski. Organized to protect the mill and associated residences, the department was murgerd into the Somers Volunteer Fire Department when the mill closed in 1969.
