Last week's question was "Who Were These People?" and there was a correct guess. They are Rev. David Jones, of the Congregational Church, and his wife, Emma.

According to Images of America: Ellington, from the Ellington Historical Society:

"The Rev. David Jones was the 19th pastor of the Congregational Church, from 1898 to 1917. Born in Wales, he was a graduate of Yale Divinity School. He and his wife Emma, pictured here, lived in the first parsonage owned by the Church. It was the home of Sarah Gilbert, who left her Greek Revival-style home at 89 Maple Street to the Church in her will in 1898."
