I have always thought that it is much more fun to give than to receive and in that spirit the Ellington Farmers' Market is giving away over 15 items from various vendors through a Facebook contest this week. You have until Friday Dec. 20th to like and share any post at https://www.facebook.com/ellingtonfarmersmarket that has a prize attached. Winners will be posted on our page at noon on Friday giving you plenty of time to get to the market which runs from 4-6pm at the Indian Valley YMCA, 11 Pinney ST. Winners must be present to claim their prize
Why are we running this through Facebook you ask? Well....there are several cool programs available that compile the entries (likes and shares of the post) and then randomly pick a winner. It makes it easy and doable from our end and you can spread the news to family and friends who may want to enter.
From farm fresh eggnog and heritage chicken to alpaca finger puppets and everything in between there is a wide variety of locally grown and produced items to win. Enter one or enter them all. Good luck and I hope to see you at the market!
