Readers' Choice: Kaman's Wines & Liquors is Your Favorite Liquor Store

When it comes to your favorite liquor store,  came out ahead in the  contest for the Ellington, Somers, Enfield, and Suffield area.

The Somers establishment was in a battle with  in Enfield and used a late push to take the final lead. 

Ellington Center Liquor Shoppe and Myott's Package Store also received double digit votes, but it wasn't enough to over take Caronna's and Kaman's.

About the winner, reader Dee wrote, "Selection and Staff are great !! Leila is awesome. Kaman's. Kaman's. Kaman's," and reader ron wrote, "Kaman's. great selection and love thier dog!"

Caronna's had a lot of support, including reader Jim Dodd, who wrote, "Caronna's is the place to go. You have a great selection of wines and spirits and avoid all the traffic at the other locations. Not to mention the atmosphere of walking into a store that has been a family business for generations. You just can't get that at any other shop in town. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the person working will always greet you and ask how your day is. Try to get that anywhere these days. take a ride over, you'll be glad you did."
