Lucky Nails Catering to the Local Crowd

The salon opened at the end of August and is offering a wide variety of services to area residents.

At the end of August, Lucky Nails opened in one of the spaces in the Big Y plaza in Ellington and has been working on growing its clientele ever since.

Manager Amy Hoang said that this location is one of three, and that the owners thought the Ellington area was nice and that it would be a good place to open a new shop.

According to Hoang, the goal was to open in June, but the salon didn’t actually open until the end of August. Because of that, they had a few good weeks before Fall really kicked in and things slowed down. She said that September, October, and November are always the worst months every year.
