Meet Your Herbs is the theme at the Ellington Farmers Market on Saturday July 7th from 9-12. Carole Miller from Topmost Herb Farm will be giving a pesto making demonstration in the large gazebo at 10:00. Members of the CT Herb Association will be on hand for information and education on herbs. A variety of food items made especially for the herb theme will be available for sale along with herb plants and cut herbs.

How long will we throw money at a problem that stems from the home and societal policies promoted…Read More over the years? How many years and how much money is needed to fix the fact that so many children are growing up in households without fathers? If we give the schools all the money they want, will it fix the problem? I think not. It is not a school issue. It is a decaying society issue. I'm glad I'm old.
