Person Hospitalized After Snowmobile Accident in Ellington
The incident happened near the Shenipsit State Forest.
One person was reportedly injured following a snowmobile accident in Ellington Wednesday evening.
At 7:55 p.m., officials responded to an area on Webster Road, near the Shenipsit State Forest for a report of a snowmobile accident, according to a dispatcher from Tolland County Mutual Aid.
One person was taken via a Life Star helicopter to Hartford Hospital.
NBC Connecticut reported that the victim was 19 and that he suffered non-life threatening injuries. The news station also reported the accident happened on Soapstone Mountain.
