14th Annual Somers Great Escape 5k & 5-Mile Run

The 14th Annual Somers Great Escape, is set for Saturday, September, 14th 2013!

Prizes for both 5k & 5-Mile / men & women:

• 1st Place:  $300
• 2nd Place: $150
• 3rd Place:  $ 75
• Each age division winner: $20
• $200 Bounty for breaking overall course record!

Race day registration will begin at 7:00am. Those that preregistered can pick up their bibs between 7am-8am. Race t-shirts will be provided to race participants. The entry fee prior to Sept. 12 is $20. Our race day entry fee is $25.

Both races will start simultaneously at 8:00am and will be chip timed by The Last Mile Race Timing. Our 5k course is USATF certified. The 5-mile course is wheel measured.

Awards and door prizes will be handed out immediately after the race. 

This is certainly a destination race that you can make the day of. Run or spectate the Great Escape... stay for the parade... then head to the 4-Town Fair!
