Schedule of Events for the Four Town Fair

Here's a schedule for the Four Town Fair in Somers this weekend.

It started Thursday evening and it continues Friday through Sunday. There are several musical acts throughout the weekend too, starting Friday with the band "Trailer Trash" at 6 p.m.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 13

4 p.m. - Fair Opens
6 p.m. - 17th Annual Antique & Classic Car Show at the Doodlebug Ring
6 p.m. - Beef Steer Show - Youth & Open at the Cattle Ring
7 p.m. - Heaviest Pumpkin Contest at the Children's Stage
7 p.m. - Doodlebug Pulling Contest - Classes I & II at the Doodlebug Ring
7 - 11 p.m. -  "Trailer Trash"  (Country) Main Stage 
11 p.m. - Fair Closes

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 14

8 a.m. - Fair Opens
9:30 a.m. - Open Working Oxen Show at the Horse Show Ring
9:30 a.m. - Goat Showmanship & Judging at the Goat Ring
10 a.m. - Fair Parade -- Route: Main Street to the Fairgrounds
10:30 a.m. - Judging of Dairy Cattle - Youth & Open at the Cattle Ring
10:30 a.m. - "Over the Hill" and Costume Classes at the Cattle Ring
11 a.m. - Oxen Drawing Contests at the Pull Ring
1 p.m. - Largest Frog & Frog Jumping Contests at the Children's Stage
1 - 5 p.m.  "The Tirebiter Band" (Classic Rock Covers) at the Main Stage
2 p.m. - Wool Spinning Demonstration at the Sheep & Swine Barn
4 - 7 p.m. - CT Renegades Cowboy Mounted Shooter at the Horse Show Ring
5 p.m. - Women's Skillet Throw at the Cattle Ring
6 p.m. - Open Swine Show at the Sheep & Swine Barn

9 a.m. - Pony Drawing Contest at the Pull Ring
10 a.m. - 1 p.m. -  "After All"  (Duo) at the Main Stage
11 a.m. - Sheep Showmanship & Judging at the Sheep & Swine Barn
11 a.m. - Beef Fitting & Showmanship - Jr. & Sr. at the Cattle Ring
1 p.m. - Judging of Beef Cattle - Youth & Open at the Cattle Ring
1 p.m. - Horse Drawing Contest at the Pull Ring
1:30 p.m. - Corn Eating Contest at the Children's Stage
3 p.m. - Pie Eating Contest at the Children's Stage
2 - 7 p.m. - "Truck Stop Troubadours"  (Country) at the Main Stage
