A Rockville, CT native... attended Northeast School, Rockville High School and graduated from Manchester Community College... one of the first graduating classes. Once retired, now re-working, corporate executive with a musicology background. Owned my own music businesses in years past, and now do music production work privately for radio (WWUH) and concert shows (Jon "Bowzer" Bauman's Annual Doo-Wop Shows at the Mohegan Sun).

I am presently Executive Director of the Rockville Downtown Association, President of the Gene Pitney Commemorative Committee, Inc. and a Director on the Board of the Vernon Community Arts Center.<br><br>I recently helped produce the very successful RDA Acappella Slam in Vernon and also volunteer my graphic arts services to Vernon&#39;s Carnival Committee that puts on the Annual &#34;Summer Days&#34; Carnival at Connecticut Golfland.

My blog will focus on local history, preservation and how music affects our lives... and I will remind people of the significant events that took place musically throughout the past 60 years or so thru my &#34;This Week in Music History&#34; blogs.

I&#39;ll also keep everyone posted on the progress of important downtown projects... like the &#34;Rediscovery of Hockanum Falls&#34; project. Be watching for updates!
