Somers American Legion Post Seeks New Members

Originally organized in 1932, the Buck-Dubiel American Legion Post 101 has recently returned to being an active post! The Post was physically active from 1932-1972 and then was remotely administered from American Legion Department Headquarters for the past forty years from 1972-2012. The Post was re-activated in September, 2012, and has been in the process of getting reorganized. If you are a veteran, we invite you to become a member of our Post. The American Legion best serves the community by having an active Post working with community programs, especially children and youth programs, and providing assistance to all veterans and their families.
