This weekend, both Ellington and Somers held celebrations to honor and remember those in the military who gave the ultimate sacrifice, as well as those who are still with us.
On Saturday, a ceremony was held at in observance of Memorial Day.
On Monday, Ellington held a ceremony at and two parades - one at Crystal Lake and one in the center of town. After the parade in the center of town, residents gathered at the green for another tribute before heading into the for a final tribute.
