Celebrating the 4th of July [With Video]
The annual July in the Sky event in Vernon featured food, fun, a parade - won by an Ellington resident - and, of course, fireworks.
Downtown Rockville came alive on Tuesday with three hours of music, games, food and the annual Push, Pedal, Pull Patriotic Parade - which was won by Ellington's Dalton Garcia.
Then, everyone found a comfortable place to settle in and watch the usual spectacular fireworks display.
The show is produced by the Vernon Parks and Recreation Department and the Rockville Community Alliance.
