In celebration of Connecticut’s Small Business Saturday, State Rep. Chris Davis (R-57) attended the grand opening of Book Club on Saturday, November 30. The new small business offers new and used books for sale as well as site for book clubs to meet.

“Book Club is a welcome addition to our community, providing a space for people to meet, read, and converse,” Chris Davis said.

Rep. Davis is a strong supporter of small businesses and during the last legislative session argued to end the business death tax, which discourages entrepreneurs from starting their own businesses.

“It is important that the state government make it easy for hardworking individuals to be able to open great businesses such as this,” said Davis.

Rep. Davis can also be reached by phone at (800)842-1423, or by e-mail at Christopher.Davis@housegop.ct.gov.

Rep. Davis represents the 57th district covering East Windsor & Ellington
