Somers Lacrosse Stays in Win Column
After a rough start to the season, the Spartans have hit their stride.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Somers High School boys lacrosse team defeated visiting Suffield 14-2.
Sean Tynan led the way for Somers with four goals. Cullen Roberts added three and Ray McCarthy two.
John Albert, Ryan Lynch, Kevin Murdoch, Connor Wyllie, and Stephen Astone each scored one.
Adam Holmes had both goals for Suffield.
Pat Tynan had nine saves for Somers and Mickey Lapone had nine saves for Suffield.
Somers (4-2) is home on Friday against Granby and Suffield (2-3) is on the road against Tolland on Wednesday.
