Somers Lacrosse Picks Up Win in Granby

On Saturday, the Somers High School boys lacrosse team defeated host Granby 11-7.

Ray McCarthy had three goals and two assists, and Cullen Roberts had three goals for Somers.

Ryan Lynch had two goals, Connor Wyllie had two goals, Sean Tynan had a goal and two assists, and Ed Hill had one goal for the Spartans.

Pat Tynan had 15 saves in goal.

Somers is now 10-3 while Granby is  8-6. The Spartans will host Old Lyme on Tuesday.
