The Somers High School defeated visiting Ellington 12-2 on Thursday afternoon.
Sean Tynan, Eddie Hill, Ryan Lynch, Cullen Roberts, and Connor Wyllie each scored two goals for Somers. Hill and Lynch each added two assists and Roberts and Wyllie each notched one.
Cody Roy and Anthony Buttofuco also scored for the Spartans. Roy and Chris Higgins also had an assist.
Derek Hill and Garrett Boulanger each had a goal for Ellington.
Somers goalkeeper Pat Tynan made 10 saves. Kyle Ross had seven saves for the Knights.
Somers (2-2) hosts Windsor on Friday. Ellington (2-1) hosts Tolland on Saturday.
