Ellington Softball Picks Up a Win, Defeats Tolland

The 11-12 year-old All-Star team defeated Tolland on Monday.

The Ellington 11-12 year-old All-Star softball team defeated Tolland 14-2 on Monday.

Pitcher Cassie Holmes and the Ellington defense limited Tolland to one hit in a four inning complete game.

For Ellington, Hunter Ryan had two RBI, and Rachel Stone scored twice. Jordan Harbaugh and Kelly White each contributed a run.

For Tolland, Ashley Landolina keyed the defense with support from Kelly Shea and Karissa Laramie.

Tolland will travel to face Windsor on Tuesday while Ellington awaits the winner of Manchester versus Vernon. That game will take place on Wednesday.
