Ellington Girls Lacrosse Rallies for Victory
The Knights came back to defeat visiting Canton on Friday.
The Ellington High School girls lacrosse team rallied to defeat host Canton 9-8 on Friday.
Down by three goals with about nine minutes to go, Kristen Breen scored a goal to put Ellington within two. In the next minute and a half, Rachel Ziter and Bailey Krasinski scored to tie the game at seven.
Krasinski scored another two goals to win the game for Ellington.
Ally Letizia did an outstanding job in goal ending with 15 saves for the Knights.
Ellington (3-5) hosts RHAM on Monday. Canton (1-7) hosts Suffield on Tuesday.
