Beauty Queen, Survivor of Childhood Sexual Abuse, Sends an Open Message to Jerry Sandusky

Miss Greater Rockville Katlyn Lewicke is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse whose personal platform as part of the Miss Connecticut organization is working with children who have been victimized.

She is a native of Pennsylvania and was, like millions of others, angered at the Penn State sexual abuse revelations, as well as moved by the plight of the victims. She sat down on Friday with Vernon Patch to record an open message to Jerry Sandusky, the former Nittany Lion assistant football coach convicted of charges related to sexual misconduct.
