Christina Anderson - Candidate for Somers Town Clerk

Christina Anderson is a candidate in the upcoming election running for Town Clerk. Christina was born in New Mexico and raised in Texas. In 1987 she enlisted in the United States Navy as a Yeoman. During her 20-year military career she received training in and excelled in the field of administration and executive office management. Christina administered many specialized programs in support of Naval personnel and operations. Her military experience has fostered a deep sense of principles based on: Honor, to oneself and fellow citizens; Courage, to have the moral and mental convictions to do what is right; and Commitment, to treat each individual with dignity and exhibit the highest degree of moral character. 

In 2007, after moving around the country and living in several states, Christina retired from the Navy with honorable service and settled in Somers, CT. She continues her work in the administrative field and currently supports a corporate staff based throughout the United States. She is a member of the Somers Republican Town Committee and takes pride in her status as a Navy veteran. She is also a member of The American Legion, Buck - Dubiel Post #101, in Somers, serving as Post Historian. 

Christina is looking forward to the opportunity to serve Somers residents as Town Clerk.
