When and how did your business get started?
The Bullock Company, Inc. dba Bullock Access has been in business since 1987. We began by doing renovation work. The company was incorporated in 1993 when we became involved in accessibility renovations and equipment installations for projects funded by the State of Connecticut, non-profit organizations, and private jobs.

Why did you choose the town you chose to start your business in?
We live in and love Ellington. The location is ideal for starting our day before we head out to all parts of CT.

What is your business best known for?
We sell, install, and provide maintenance for accessibility equipment: Stair Lifts, Wheelchair/platform lifts, Barrier-free shower and bathing systems, ramps, and patient-transfer ceiling lifts.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?
We are a family owned and operated business. Cliff, father, and David, son, work very well together. Over the years, they have helped people from seniors who want to live safely in their homes, to families with children born with disabilities. Cliff and David have a talent for bringing light humor to their jobs while remaining empathetic and respectful of their customers. Their customers enjoy having them around!
