Somers Students Inducted into Western New England University Chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta

Ashley Wright and Brandon Roberts were inducted into the national honor society for first year students that encourages and recognizes superior academic achievement.

The following students were inducted into the Western New England University chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta on August 24 during the University's Convocation ceremony:

Ashley Wright, majoring in General Biology.

Brandon Roberts, majoring in History.

Founded in 1924, Alpha Lambda Delta is a national honor society for first year students that encourages and recognizes superior academic achievement. Alpha Lambda Delta seeks to promote intelligent living, a continued high standard of learning, and encourages students to recognize and develop meaningful goals for their roles in society. Members pledge to use their education for the benefit to the community, the college, the nation, and the world.

Western New England University is a private, independent, coeducational institution founded in 1919. Located on an attractive 215-acre suburban campus in Springfield, Massachusetts, Western New England University serves 3,700 students, including 2,550 full-time undergraduate students. Undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs are offered through Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, and Pharmacy, and School of Law.
