Somers Softball Gets Back in the Win Column

After picking up its second loss of the season, the Spartans got back on track with a victory over Windsor Locks.

After a frustrating loss to Tuesday, the softball team got back on track with an 8-3 victory over host Windsor Locks on Wednesday.

Samantha Urbon was the starting and winning pitcher, allowing three earned runs, three hits, and two walks. She struck out two.

Allie Dubanoski led Somers at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two RBI and five stolen bases.

Teresa Garlick added a base hit and two RBI and Julie Folger was 4-for-4 with a double, a RBI, four stolen bases and four runs scored.  

Somers (13-2) hosts Enfield on Thursday.
