Somers Softball Continues Winning Ways
The Spartans improved to 4-0 on the season with a victory over Coventry.
The softball team continued its roll with a 3-1 victory over visiting Coventry.
Coventry scored a run in the first inning but Emily Vanesse scored the tying run in the third inning on a passed ball.
Allison Dubanoski had the go-ahead RBI in the fifth inning with a two-out summary. Vanesse drove in an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth inning for Somers (4-0).

JoJo Meunier pitched a complete game with eight strikeouts, three hits, three walks, and one earned run.
Nicole Uccello tossed a four hitter for Coventry (3-1). Uccello allowed two earned runs and had six strikeouts.
