Somers Field Hockey Falls to Suffield

The Spartans were shutout by the Wildcats on Thursday.

On Thursday afternoon, the Somers High School field hockey team fell 3-0 to visiting Suffield. 

The Wildcats led 1-0 at the half and never looked back.

For Suffield, Katie Mahoney had two goals. Brenna Frechette scored on a penalty stroke.

Jenna Jablonski made eight saves for Somers and Dara Manress made seven for Suffield.

Somers (7-8) will travel to Granby on Monday. Suffield (10-5) will host Enfield the same day.
