On Thursday, the Somers High School field hockey team fell 4-1 to visiting Granby.
At the half, Granby led 2-1 before pulling away in the second half.
The Somers goal was scored by Emma Panto, assisted by Katie Fawthrop.

For Granby, Mia Olsen had two goals and an assist. Lindsey Hurlburt and Olivia Johnson also scored for the Bears. Krista Iwanicki notched an assist in the win.
Somers goalkeeper Jenna Jablonski recorded 14 saves.

Somers (4-5) travels to Avon on Tuesday. Granby (2-4) hosted Suffield on Friday.
