Pantuosco Breaks a Record for Somers

The junior forward broke the school record for number of assists in a season.

Joe Pantuosco had a goal and an assist in the boys' soccer team's 4-0 victory over host Coventry on Friday.

Pantuosco's assist was a school record breaking 19th of the season.

Lorenzo Rolocut also had a goal and an assist. Jake Alvaro and Nick Murzda also scored for the Spartans.

Joe Pellegrini, Connor O'Grady, Nick Elia and Jack Kapino played well defensively.

Alex Geas earned the shutout for Somers making five saves.

Somers (13-2) finishes the regular season in Canton on Tuesday. Coventry (9-6) closes the season at home against Windsor Locks the same day.
